Sam Solomon, CEO and President of The Coleman Company, Inc., has been named to the Board of Directors for Outdoor Industry Association. Solomon was chosen to fill one of six open seats on the 24-member panel. The first meeting of the new board will take place during the Outdoor Retailer Show later this month.
OIA is widely recognized as a source for outdoor industry and active lifestyle research and is the premiere outdoor trade group in the United States. Based in Boulder, Colo., OIA provides trade services for more than 4,000 manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, retailers and related trade associations in the outdoor industry and is the exclusive endorser of Outdoor Retailer, the world’s largest outdoor products trade show.
