TaylorMade-adidas Golf reported $789 million in net sales for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, company officials have announced. That is a 1 percent increase over the $783 million recorded in the same period a year ago.

During the quarter, adidas Group revenues grew 11 percent on a currency-neutral basis, driven by double-digit sales growth in the adidas and TaylorMade-adidas Golf segments, officials said. While adidas revenues increased 15 percent, TaylorMade-adidas Golf sales grew 12 percent on a currency-neutral basis.

For the first nine months of 2008, the adidas Group's revenues increased 11 percent on a currency-neutral basis, driven by double-digit sales growth in the adidas and TaylorMade-adidas Golf segments. The adidas segment grew 16 percent, while the Reebok segment decreased 2 percent and TaylorMade-adidas Golf segment sales increased 11 percent.
